hair, cascades, tumbling over
your shoulders? why would i love
you, your gentle walk, the sway of
your body to the rhythm of our hearts
beating intertwined? why would i love your
smile, o! your beautiful smile, shining a light into
the emptiness of the void left in your absence. why
would i love the way that no matter where you are, far,
near, you can always bring me happiness? why would i love
you when it hurts so much to lose you?
